Sebastion, Ft. Pierce, Palm Beach 11-9-12

Started out at Basspro shop. And grabbed a sleeping bag.
I knew I was going to be fishing for a few days.

Man the kids love this place.

They had some nice cobia rods for $130.

I fished Ft. Pierce Inlet ladyfish and baby jacks were there but not much else.
I ran into "Rippinlipsoff" And we met up later and fished South Bridge.
Not much there we had ladyfish out and some live Bunker... there I said it Bunker
I think the water was just to cold or something like that.
But we made the best of that night.
My camera was acting up and I couldn't get the flash to turn on.
So I didn't take alot of pictures at night.

So I headed to sebastion in the 5AM range from Ft. Pierce.
Man what a awesome sunrise that was worth the whole drive up there.

No bait was there. I even walked all the way down and tried finding mullet in the pool east of the north jetty... no luck i was chest deep in cold water.
I lost a huge mack up and down trying to flip him, on the only finger mullet I had.
So I left went to Palm Beach
I have not fished there in a few months and ran into some friends and fished it out.
The place was a mess from the sandypiper look what the little guy did!

Big jacks all over the place in huge schools in the waves.
They wouldn't bite for some reason.
Big blue runners on the bottom. No baitfish :x
A guy at the end of the jetty got a nice blue runner on a bottom rig so,
I cut him in half and gave half to my buddy and put the tail end on my 9 0.
about 15 min later drag goes screaming. I do my version of the running man and the hook is set and the fight was on. This shark did so much jumping and spinning
I wish I had it on camera it was awesome.

Nice report! Too bad the bait was thin, but you persevered and managed a successful trip. The big jacks werent hitting any spoons or topwaters?

Yeah I don't know what was going on.
They were staying kinda far out near the end of the jetty
right on the top you could see them all when the waves went by.
There was alot of sharks in the shallows tho maby they had them all spooked.
My friend Dylan pointed one out right infront of us in 5ft of water.
