Went fishing wed night with Will and the rest of our team to get some pre BHC fishing and met up with team Knot Shore from Hollywood. Beautiful night, calm seas and fresh bait. Our team had seven lines in the water at various distances. Anywhere from i think 125yds to the deep drop about 250yds. The three short drops were getting picked up by either nurses and small pups and none commited. Then around 9:00 my 14/0 which was the deep drop gets slammed!!! I put it freespool and let him eat and then i lock it down and start the running man the only problem is the fish stopped me in my tracks and my rod spun around on my shoulder and the fish started pulling some serious line. This was the result
After about a 20 min fight i was cut off on the reef or some other obstruction. Was good to get out and hit the beach with a great group of guys until next time!!!!!
Hey Billi that was a serious line burn by a seriously pissed off and fast shark might been a full moon hamma by the looks of it's initial first run.Had a blast fishing with the Team,,,,we're getting it together .Was very nice hooking up with Team 'Knot Shore' also.

At least you didn't also set the hook with your guide on your shoulder... I did that once and my whole shoulder got messed up and I had a knot and a bruise there.
