Retractable reusable bait float
Hard plastic Vs. Styrofoam

Hard Plastic:
Day one of testing: Lead out to 80 yards in under 4 minutes, it mimic 6-inch balloon.
We need to work on the retractable release.
Return line maybe to heavy, creating drag, or it is the reel. We may need to replace one or both.

Day two of testing: Changed the retractable reel to a “Lamson - Velocity 3.5” fly reel. . We are running 150 yards of Sharkskin fly line. Floatation is necessary!
Big difference, the ball return was smooth, had to fish the return line back from under the fishing line.
The only draw back so far is the retractable ball might need a guide to return. The bait floats out just fine, distance is not an issue.
Still need to work on release.
The snap clip used to release the fishing line is requiring too much psi. Causing a lot of tension on the return line.
