First shark I ever caught, a stud blacktip:

"He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction" (Proverbs 13:3).

Trying to find some pic's but mine was a chunky Tipper caught on my trusty Penn 9M . Wasn't a real impressive fish but not bad for a 10yo with a 9M and sturdystick with 12lb test . My relatives still wont swim at the condo beach, they think a Goliath is going to eat them or something .

My first nice Shark that I caught was a 6 - 6 1/2 ft Bull Shark when I was 12 years old on the old Cardsound Catwalk. It was on a 9/0. No pics.

This female bull was my first real shark! I did not get a chance to measure it. As my first landed real shark I must admit, I was a little sloppy and tripping over my own feet LOL. Got my pics and I got the shark back in the water and on her way.

Here is my first shark. 6'6" bull. Caught it on a Penn 6/0 wide 50 lb mono.

My wife hooked up within five minutes of me, so not only was it our first sharks but we had two at once. It was a little crazy for while but we got them both landed, tagged and released.
My wife's shark was a 5'10" blacktip. Caught on a Penn 6/0.

It was also the day I learned what Shark Rash was all about. :o
