post your very first real shark
Trying to find some pic's but mine was a chunky Tipper caught on my trusty Penn 9M . Wasn't a real impressive fish but not bad for a 10yo with a 9M and sturdystick with 12lb test
. My relatives still wont swim at the condo beach, they think a Goliath is going to eat them or something
.
Here is my first shark. 6'6" bull. Caught it on a Penn 6/0 wide 50 lb mono.
My wife hooked up within five minutes of me, so not only was it our first sharks but we had two at once. It was a little crazy for while but we got them both landed, tagged and released.
My wife's shark was a 5'10" blacktip. Caught on a Penn 6/0.
It was also the day I learned what Shark Rash was all about.
Proud to say my first real shark was an 8 ft 8 inch hammer caught off long key with my mentor Rene De Dios!! He had me so fukkkkin hyped. ( Shannon !!!!!! Do you know what this means?!!!!!!!no kid has ever done it!!!!!)I get goose bumps thinking about how pumped up and hyped he was!!!! He jumped over the long key rail and was screaming at the other Gino to ( put the light in the line) lol!!! He was so anxious to get it gaffed, you'd of thought it was 15 ft!!! He was very proud!! I was 11!!
The Very First Shark I Caught Was A Dusky In N.Y.( Had To Be Around 8yrs old ),But The Mate Cut It Loose Because It Was A Party Boat And We Were Bluefishing. The First( South Florida Shark Club ) Shark Was A 61/2ft Bull On The Old South Point Board Walk. The Photos Are In Our History Section On The Web Site, Check Them Out!!!
