Hello everyone for those of you who dont know me im Brian Mancher, i am a friend of will's and jetta chris's old roomate..... iv been fishing hard for about 7years or so now but am still kinda new to the shark fishing. i have been dedicated to learning everything i can about the sport and would love any advice or imput from anyone willing to give it.After a few weeks of struggling to land a nice shark aside from a lemon or blacktip this bullshark was finally hooked off pompano pier.... After almost 2 hours of hard powerful fighting and alot of ambitous runs this shark was finally landed on the beach for the pictures you see here.... The shark was not measured or weighed but was aprox. 9ft or so in lenght and between 250 and 300lbs.... THIS SHARK WAS RELEASED UNHARMED

Ithought the same thing, definitely a bull over 8ft and I had a feeling there were some sharks off of that pier.
Just an average fisherman.
Nice one!!!!!!!! I have yet to get one off that pier and i fish it quite often i have to try a little more. Nice report!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like a Lemon but either way congrats as it's a BIg Shark!!!!! Nice catch. Are you allowed to Shark Fish on that Pier? Do you guys get bothered at all over there? Congrats again!!!!
i thought it was a lemon too but will said its a bull so im sticking with it lol.... yea i shark fish that pier alot iv never had a problem noone leases the pier at the moment so its free and noone there to tell u not to do it
Does that mean there is no one at the bait house/entrance?Tommy(boatlessfisherman) always allowed us to shark fish out there as long as we did it in a respectful low key way.
In those pics (phone pics) when i first got to see them i could not see the second dorsal 
to be sure but the head is not very broad like the bull so maybe I am wrong and it is a lemon,,,,,

Will I think he's referring to Pomapno Pier not Anglins if i'm correct. Should ge give Pompano Pier a try. Have you guys fished there often?
yea im talking about pompano peir.. there is no bait shack and noone there at the entrance to regulate fishing during the day theres someone at the snack stand but thats it. and will i do have a digital i had it with me that night but burned all the battery recording the fight
