going to pompano to see my cousins gonna have a yak. any tips as to bait or locations. ive snorkeled pretty far out there before and there is alot of reefs and wrecks anybody know a good spot to drop a bait? bringing a penn 850 fortippers and a 9/0 for everything else
I live on the beach there and have fished the area quite a bit. At the 100 yrd marker and further you will start to see a lot of rock on the bottom. The sharks are there, alot of bulls and lemons caught at the pompano pier, and even hammers at anglins. Call me and i can give you bait information. 9548021969 Nick

I am gettin ready to do some fishing off 6th street. Any tips? I am yakin out some bonita and blue runner. I have only hooked some nurses out there though. What do you recommend I do to get a big bull from that spot?
Bonitas and blue runners are fine, preferrably thawed. I do however get more luck with cuda. Yack out 200+yrds(or just count to 200 in yak strokes, Will taught me that 
). If a Bull is there then it will be your night. Just depends on the night, current etc.. Good luck and try not to get caught on the rocks. If you want just hit up my cell 954-802-1969 and i will give you as much info as you need.
Sounds Good. I am going out there tomorrow, around 4PM. I park along the white fence at 6Th St. Stop on by if you are around. I am trying out the newly spooled 14/0 and 10/0. My Buddy has a 9/0 that we landed a monster nurse on.
