It looks like the lemons are thick here in Pompano. I spoke with a couple kids that got some lemons from the pier and the beach last week. I had some bigger size sharks bust my line on my surf pole; I imagine they were just longer than my leaders (over 7')
We did get a few sharks on the sand. First sharks for everyone! My Buddy Bryan got small Dusky (at least I think Dusky), Jeff got a 8' 2" Lemon on the spinning rod (SSV 10500 with 65lb braid) and Joey got a Fat Gummy. They are all hooked on shark fishing now.
