I met ARslinger and his fiance at the beach last night for a few hours of sharking. They had been on the beach since Monday, and he had missed a big shark that night. I got to the beach and rigged up a whole 25lb Cownose and Nate rigged up about a 15lb Ray. Conditions were perfect, full moon, perfect tide for that beach, water was flat, and the sun was about to go down. Nate ran our baits out a good ways, and after about an hour and a half I hear my 80W going off with a slow, steady growl. I strapped on my harness, strapped in my rod, let it run some more, slowly lifted the drag lever to strike, and began to reel..... FISH ON!!! The first half of the fight was like pulling in a giant Nurse Shark, but when he hit the first bar it was on! Finally got her to the shore and it was a fat a$$ Bull that went 7'2". I don't know how it ate that bait, but I'll take a fatty Bull any day! Then 30 min later Nate's rod goes off, he lets it eat, and eat, and eat, then lifts his drag lever and another fish on! This one was also fighting like a Nurse, until it got close. This one turned out to be a 6'8" Bull, and his fiance even strapped up and fought the shark like a champ! We only had a few hours to fish, two big baits, and got two respectable Bulls. It sure is nice when a plan comes together after factoring everything in for your best chance, I guess we are actually learning

Bill...........let me know if you want something that will put up a better fight..............you can trade me the 80W for one of my 6/0's. This will save you the trouble of trying to catch bigger sharks. I am only willing to do this because I consider you a good freind
