Palm Beach Blacktip Invasion

I went to Palm Beach around 1pm.
When I was driving up there, I was eating a burger. I looked over
the sea wall while driving and saw over 200 blacktips swiming south, and my burger was dropped.
I pulled over and asked a father and daughter if they could
see all the sharks out there. The man replied no, so I said here put my glasses
on. So he did, then he's like oh, I see them now! I told him thats why I'm here
I'm going to catch them now. He laughed and off I went.

We had so many sharks hitting, I can't remember the order of them or the exact
count. I think we got 12 sharks all together.
I think JD Fegan hooked up first on his 6 0.
Oh, man thats going into the best rod bend post!

Then Fegan put out another bait and he's on again!!!

Then Louis shows up aka "Picau." with his two sons.
Oh, and they're hooked up as soon as the cast a bait out!!!

These kids are good

Louis always good fishing with you man.
After that I hook up on my new 950SSm Penn Spinner.






Jonathan was trying to snap a underwater shot for me, he almost got it.


It was an awesome fight on a spinning reel.




So, I cast out again and I get hit. I set the hook and look to my left, and a guy and girl were walking my way. So, I asked the "guy" Mark if he wanted to reel a shark in and he looked at me and said sure. So I handed over my rod and he was hooked up on a nice Tipper!!!
Man, He got a better rod bend picture with my gear than me!



I look to my right and JD Fegan is hooked up again!!


We had so many sharks hooked at the same time I couldn't take all the pics I wanted to.
You can see Louis and his kids got another tipper in the background.

Oh!!! A double Header!!!!


So, the sun went down and the big baits went out...

My wife called JD Hammers phone and said she was coming to fish with us.
I told the guys, watch she will catch a bigger shark than I've ever caught.
Jonathan told me to cast a bait out on his 12 0 and if it gets hit, let my wife
reel it in.
So about 15 min went by and she said ok lets go...
I said no way, we have big baits out and it's a matter of time before they get hit...
She lets 15 more mins go by and she said ok I'm leaving. I said NO!!!
Then Sure enough...
Jonathan get a solid hit...


He sets hook then gets the rod in position for her.
This was her first shark ever!!!!


And it was a big dog!!!

OH!!!! She was in Shark Shock Trance!!!

Man, I went home sick after seing what she had just pulled in....
I was thinking no,no,no this is not real it's a dream...
I was a 90 inch Lemon!!!









I've been fishing for sharks hardcore for 2 years and she showed me up in less than a hour... aw man, maby I need to find another hobby


Then JD Hammers 704z went screaming, So I ran over and set hook...
I handed the rod after setting hook to my wife and she's on again!!!
She has the shark fever now





Man, we had way to much fun today
She got a nice little Blacktip to end the night for all of us...
Man, What a great day.
