night started by me jetting home from work gather my shark fishing gear. getting picked up and racing to the beach. i set up the 14/0 for me and the 6/0 for my buddy. the water was flat all night. about an hour later the 14/0 goes off, i set up fiht the shark for a little bit and bring her in. a nice looking sandbar shark.
the night rolls on and after kayak out another bait on my 14/0 we chill for awhile and the 6/0 gets a screamer. i set up and hand the rod to my buddy. the 6/0 screams and screams. and hes getting really low on line so i tell him to back up off the drag. this is literally his second shark so eventually the shark charges and the hook was spit.
shortly after the 14/0 gets hit. i put it in free spool lock my drag and running man. i ran setting hook but was immediately flung backwards and almost knocking me in the sand. as the line peels off the 14/0 i tell my buddies to get camera and everything ready
its a big fat foul hooked blacktip 
Blacktips & Sandbars... How Much Line Was Out When The 6/0 Got Hit? Should Of Been Strong Enough To Land That Shark 
itt was half empty anyways, i need to get more line
Why Didn't You Tie Off To The 14/0 Its Always Good Practace...Keeps You Running Smooth & Those Were GREAT CATCHES

Looks like he was out-matched on the 6/0 Them big sandbars and tippers are fun on the smaller reels but def challenging sometimes.Another fine report, thanks Dylan.Good to see you getting new fishermen on the beach and into the sport.
