JDHammer, JPsharker, Fightinglady08, and I set out late Friday afternoon for the weekend in hopes of catching enough for a fish fry; however, we ended up with a lot more than we bargained for. Three cudas, two lobster, and one healthy hammerhead!
On Friday I caught one cuda on the wrong tide at long key.
Saturday morning Jonathan and Hammer caught two lobster despite some crazy boaters. Later that afternoon we put out bonita on three rods. Jonathan's 14/0 got hit so I yelled for him; he yelled back "set the hook, get em'!" So I have to thank you Jonathan for giving me the opportunity to make a catch of a life time! The fight was 30 brutal knuckle scraping minutes up and down the bridge.

No Mark, you aren't just an average fisherman. Congratulations on your beautiful hammer! It's quite an accomplishment to keep a large shark like that away from the poles on Long Key!
