I was using a small jack crevalle. It was around 1:30pm low tide at honeymoon island. it was on spinning gear with a 10 ft rod. I casted out my bait and just after the bait hit the water, a pelican was flying and got caught in my line and dragged the bait out even further! after a couple seconds the pelican got untangled and the bait dropped back into deeper water. after about 30 minutes the reel started screamin. After about 15 minutes i got him to shore, measured it, and released it. :D
