Memorial Day Sharkin

A little late, but it's not much of a report. Anyway...

I'm not saying I have a problem with people, in fact I like people. But I work at Universal Studios with 30,000 people a day so I appreciate the solitude when I can get it. And that's why I like fishing during the week, the beaches are empty. But a last minute trip was in order and Sebastian Inlet looked like this:

Finding a spot to fish was gonna be hard.
We went to a familiar spot and as luck would have it, a family was packing up to leave where we usually set up. So we hammer down the rod holders, set up shop and tried to paddle out baits. aaaaand...then we left after 2 hours because the waves were beating the crap out of me. I couldn't get out 50 yards without being thrown back or thrown overboard! We decided to fish the Melbourne causeway and the paddling was much easier. In fact I paddled at night for the first time! Ansel caught this little gem:

She's the first atlantic sharpnose I've ever seen, beautiful fish. If anyone is good with photoshop and can "super impose" this girl onto a hot dog bun, that would be sweet!
