I went to the docks and loaded up on grouper carcusses for the sharks, got picked up by caleb and headed to our spot, and from then on it was drop bait-catch shark-repeat, except it was only calebs 14/0 getting runs.

What you need to do is come on over here, and fish the biggest bait you can get, something ridiculous that you would not even expect to be able to get a hookup on. Put it out right at sunset on a day when the tide is right and wait an hour. It will be such a rush when the clicker goes off and such a letdown when you come tight and don't hear your drag roaring. Works for me every time..I have taken it to another level and dropped baits out there that almost flipped my canoe trying to dump over the side and they still manage to eat it..my best measured bull so far is 7'5 or 7'6 I believe and it ate a bait that was well over 30# and that is probably an underestimate on the size of that bait it managed to eat within 1 minute 
The shark was very heavy for the length but I was amazed it was able to put down a bait that size.
we better have a report by saturday when we get off the beach! lol
