The past couple of months have been off and on for me on the sand. I hooked a real fat blacktip on an X-rap and after 45 minutes finally landed him. One of the craziest fights I've ever experienced. The mullet run came and went and I really only had one good morning to show for it. 12 jacks that morning, several decent ones and one stud somewhere around 30 lbs. I almost got spooled in the inlet by something that morning, I'm assuming it was a blacktip but we will never know. The weather has been crazy and the surf has been very rough for the past two weeks, which means I've been slaying the jacks of course. Oh yeah, and my wife got the business end of an X-rap one day out there. She's a champ. I finally bought a beach cart--bout time! Enjoy the pictures!
