long key
I left the tournament on the sand a little early to head to the keys with one of my buddies who has never been there b4. we stop a chan. 2 an i lose 2 cudas one a on a tube an the other on a moonfish. waters clean outgoing tide so i tell hime lets go to the moonfish hole on long key, as soon as we get out on the bridge a bad rain storm starts but i keep fighing thrue the hard rain an wind an it pays off i get one cuda about 12lbs. the rain ends an my buddie starts fishing again an he gets a nice cuda about 12- 15 lbs also. i put 2 hooks in him on out he goes on the 14/0 live between the poles like most know bigg hammers come in for them i keep fishing get another cuda an as soon as i get him over the rail the 14 starts screamming i start running to it grab it let him eat for a little hammer the drag an start setting up an go straight to the rail an the fish is startting to pull good drag about 100yrds without stopping im thinking i have kingkong an i turn him the fights over i power winch a 6ft blacktip to the bridge....i dont know why but this fish had alot of power to her.
