I went to the pier to try and get some bait and the first thing I see when I got to the end of the pier is this..........
I went back home running to get my shark reel and 2 bonitas, when I came back from my house with my shark gear guess who's there......
While I'm cutting my frozen bonita I was telling some kid there that was trying to hook the hammer for no reason because he had a TLD star and that hammer was around 12ft.....when I'm ready to pitch the bait off the rail that kid hooks the hammer and scared him away 
I called my partner JD and we fished the pier until 10:00pm hoping for that monster to come back.............
and we ended up catching a thick lemon

I decided to come back the next morning with my grandpa to fish the mullet run
mullets everywhere
we got a 7ft tiger..........beautiful tiger in the morning
the picture is not good but the tiger is there.......maybe upper left corner

I know Mark....that kid ruined my day, and everybody said that the hammer would come back, that he's been coming after hooked for the past 3 days but something always told me that he wasn't coming back

Nice report thanks.That looks like a pretty big hammer .You should of told the kid he did'nt have much of a chance with a hammer that size on a TLD, maybe he would listen to good reasoning, but I doubt it 
.What else is being caught out there during the mullet run?

they are catching a lot of bluefish....you put a bluefish out you will have a good chance of getting a shark..............................I explained them all that but they wouldn't listen
