spent the whole night driving from fort myers and got to thes keys about morning and started looking for different places to fish. fished the rest of the day but had no bites. Had a monster tarpon circe a mullet i had in the water but didnt eat it as soon as the sun started to set and the tide changed the bite turned on. went down to the truck to get a blanket and ran into another sfsc member jd. as soon as he sets up he catches a tarpon when we sat there all day without a single bite 
. after he got his tarpon we started to hook up to them. The tide changed and it looked like we could start balloning baits out but it was so slow and the wind was goin against us. So i just let my bait soak about 20 yards out. jd ended up leaving and i fell asleep after i woke up things started to change.

no we didnt have any measuring tape but were guessig 7-8 foot.
