Keewaden shark fishing

Planned on a trip to Keewaden this past weekend. Its been a while since Ive last been shark fising. Probably havent done any in a good year. Decided to go spend the night at keewaden. We went out a couple days ahead of time and cast netted a cooler full of mullet and stuff. When we first got to the island I had a redfish from the other day i decided to use him for bait. Kayaked it out to the middle of the pass made it back to shore and cracked a beer. By the time i grabbed my beer the reel started screaming. I ran over flipped the lever and set the hook. It didnt slow down one bit. I cranked the drag tight on my penn 6/0 and it still didnt slow down a bit. I heard some spashing then lost it. I still wonder what it could have been. But the rest of the night stayed eventful landing 3 sharks. I will post some pictures im not sure what type of sharks they are but they were fun. Definately have shark fever. Planning on a Big Carlos trip this weekend.
