Headed out to the causeway today to do a little sharking with the wife and son.

Put out a live 10 lb ray on the out going tide.it soaked bleeding for about 3 hours or so and Didnt get touched. Not to many baits around. Was rather slow out there today all around.

Anyway's here is a picture of the ray bridled with a 3x strong 12/0 demon perfect off set cirlce.

IMO best way to use a cirlce. 100% exposed

Water is super murky up here in Pasco County, I havent even bothered going out yet. Them live rays will produce though, just keep at it....only a matter of time til a freight train hits it

it's been pretty slow in my area.. The lady fish are not here in number chasing the glass minnows and greenies yet.

I love rays this size. To me they are shark candy.

I fish strictly live ray this size or a little bigger and or live lady fish. Tail hooked and them swim around until big bertha comes along.

Heading out to FortPierce bridge tonight. Going to give it a try I have 1 frozen lady fish that was caught yesterday.

the ladyfish are stacked in fort pierce (they'll hit any lure), as well as jensen if you have live shrimp.
adam and i will be down in jensen tonight to see how it goes. when he caught that lemon i had a ray out for hours that didn't get touched. he ballooned out a ladyfish and the lemon picked it up in 10 minutes.

I got 7 hits on Indian Rocks Fri night! The ray on my 14/0 was hit 5 and the 12/0 twice. The 14/0's bait had somehow doubled itself up on the hook and the point was buried. One of the 5 "hookups" I was stopped and spun around mid "runningman" :o and pulled off balance but the point wouldnt penetrate. The 12/0's bait showed little marks on it for being hit twice, I think it was completely inhaled (good sized ray btw). The wire was bent up 12-15 inches up the leader :o May have been my "Jewish" buddy but idk. Wish I could have connected with it! Trailer hooks will be added for this weekend! I can assure that! Idk why I went with single hook rigs anyway, I rarely do. Hope to have a good report this weekend for you guys!
