For thous who'are looking to catch jacks to stock up the freezer, yesterday i caught about 200lbs of jacks, ranging from 1/2lb all the way to 10.6lb each - in 6 hours - only in incoming tide.
The KR spinning rod that i made, flipped 10lb jack like nothing.

Boghy- Way to go and knock em out!!! A few days of that, at that rate, & you could have bait for years to come!!! Sounds like a fun, action packed day. Really satisfying to have your own hand made rod "Do Work" so well.
