Having fun with spinners
me and 'tighlines' have been fishing when we can. between both of us working all the time, it's tough. here's some spinners we caught 2 sundays ago and i just never got around to uploading them. they've obviously been back in full-force around south florida, so we had to go have some fun.
we used ladyfish, bluefish, jacks, and whole mullet.
jacks were picked at, but never solid runs. bluefish was the same deal. but for the ladyfish and mullet, all were picked up in minutes. with the mullet being picked up before i even got the kayak back to shore.
here's 4 of the 5 spinners we ended up catching:
Nice, I wanna get into a school of those.
Just an average fisherman.

i've been keeping up with the site on my phone, but my computer crashed some time ago so i haven't been able to post until now.
stevens- they could be tippers. the only time i saw a clear-cut difference between the two was last year when i had pics of a spinner and a blacktip i caught side-by-side. i know about the anal fin colors, perhaps i should start paying more attention.
Ya easiest way to see difference is the black tip on the anal fin of spinners kinda ironic blacktips don't have the black anal fin lol
Nice post. Looks like fun.
