Hatteras NC trip
I made a trip to Hatteras this past weekend for some shark action.I took the wife and some friends so we didn't camp out on the beach all weekend.I would run baits before dark and we would fish till around midnight.None of the people with me have caught a shark and two of the four have never been shark fishing.Everyone got to fight a shark this trip and my friends Todd and Bob both landed their first. My wife Missy even fought one when I hooked up and let her on the reel. She was doing her best when one of my other reels gets hit and takes off.Watch this video and tell me if you think shes a little excited.click pic to watch video

Here is Todds 5'6" sandbar

And Bobs 7'6" sand tiger

As for me I hooked up on a 6'11" sand tiger with the daiwa sha-50 about 30 yds out and an 8'2" sand tiger with
the 9/0

It was a good trip to have everyone fight a shark and have two friends catch their first plus I think the wife got hooked this trip too.
Awesome report Scott thanks. It's a sucess when one travels so far with friends to pursue sharks and you get to tangle with them.Wives and friends who have never caught sharks get to feel the exiliration of fighting one on rod and reel,,,,,,,"it don't get better that" .Thanks for sharing the report and pics with us.
