How much line do you think that it pealed?
The shark took me out about 950 yds i had 1200 yds of 130 n at one point i was under a quarter spool to bring him in took 15- 20 mins but stripped me out 4 over an hour n a half it was 1 strong fish.

Looks like yall in the lead for the biggun. Lookin good JD and friends. Man things are hot down there. Not trying to pry but what did it eat? Its nice to realize why we toat those odd looking big reels around all the time. Folks look at our reels and say "you are fishing with a wench" or "what are you trying to catch? mobie dick" Its nice to laugh and know that they just dont understand. All you guys fishing with ya bottom reel would have been out of line and the shark would have been 18' in ya dreams. That is a big shark and it took a shark reel to catch it. Congrats.

Jimmy congrat that is a nice hammer
The hammer ate the tail half of an amber jack JD caught the blacktip on the head mark the shark posted the pics of the blacktip and video today.
That's a fish of a lifetime right there..what a monster hammer, congratulations guys this is something you will always be very proud of, enjoy it!

The longer video towards the end definetly sounded liek teh drag washers blew out!!!

congratulations on that monster hammer jimmy. i wont ever forget that trip jimmy it was an amazing trip, and the way you fought that monster for over 2 and a half hours and you just kept pushing yourself. it was just amazing congrats again on your monster.
