Folks this is a beautiful time of the year in south Florida ,the breeze starts blowing ,tempatures drop,the sun starts going down early,the Mullet run gets under way and some fantastic shark fishing begins to happen in the keys bridges.It's a great time of the year to camp overnight under the stars with lower tempatures and balmy breezes that make staying on any bridge bearable.If you remember last year in October we had a nice get together on the seven mile bridge (south side) and Big Will caught his 10 foot 5 inch hammer and another big shark schooled Jimmy Fuqua also on the incoming tide.Also the snapper and snook fishing is excellent for those who use live baits and know where to drop them.Fishing with a small live pinfish next to a piling almost guarantees you a fat mangrove snapper in late October.

This invitation for this two day event is open to any and all who want to spend some time in the great outdoors and fishing one of the premeir shark fishing spots in Florida..Shark club members and non club members are all invited .So let's see who can make it out and fish with us from Friday October 23rd til Sunday October 25th.We'll have the bar b q grill and the big cooler loaded with sodas for everyone that wants to join us. This year I am once again volunteering to make the fresh snapper Sashimi and the yellow jack ceviche that everyone loves so much,,,,,,,,,the fried fish is'nt bad also.You donate your catch and I'll personally prepare it Japanese ,Cuban or American style. If anyone wants to enter the calcutta for sharks or snapper category you can pm me and we'll sign you up ahead of time or you can sign up at the event.We'll have certificates to hand out for everyone that participates in the event- courtesy of the South Florida Shark Club.If you plan to attend make sure you bring plenty of drinking water ,sleeping bags ,a small tent or tarp if you want to stay out of the sun and a cooler with plenty of bait and food to last you for a weekend. We hope to see you all out there.

I am as die hard for football and the miami hurricanes as i am fishing, so i will leave the saturday game at around 3pm after we stomp clemson,and be there around 6 to let out my three 14/0s in search of her!! ohhhh who you ask ??? awwww partnerr you will have to ask hammmer will,and willie that one, cuz they know who she is and where she will be in october!!! durrr dummmm,durrr,dummmm durr durr durrr durrrrr a tum!!!! I am no longer sure if i will get there, My doctor told me not to go...but i believe he is just covering his a$$.
So i will see how i am doing at the last minute..then decide.
I will at least drive down on Saturday if i can, to say hello and take the kids for a ride. They love it when Dad takes them to the keys.
FYI eye surgery 2 days before the event...lens replacement just 1 eye :O)
Also if i only come for sat afternoon then i will call ahead to see if anyone needs ice or food or whatever, Cause i will have my cart and my scooter 
I will be down there. can you stay on the bridge?? If so im gonna wing it cause i have no idea how to fish the keys, but im gonna try ahah
