Went about 60 miles offshore today, targeting makos. Lost one at the boat but made up for it with a massive jewfish. Brought him up a little too fast on a 130 tiara. He didn't want to go back down but after about 10 minutes we got him to take off back down to the bottom, soaking us all with a slap of his tail! We weren't gaffing him, just pushing down on him with the gaffs.

Yes we do haha! Border patrol, fwc, coast guard, police boats....every time we get pulled over at least one guy takes a picture of our boat or gets a picture holding one of our fish while they are being checked haha!
