The full moon beckons and we the intuitive shark fishing afficionados answer the call.Two fine sharks caught tonight and both before 12 midnight .In the keys Jd Fagan hits a beastly 8 ft 4 inch Bull and further north on the east coast I catch 7 ft 1 inch fat ,scappy Sandbar shark that had Jimmi Dean and I dancing to get away from it's vicious tail wacks.Pictures and full story tommorow time to hit the sack.The choices of places to fish were many but we decided last minute to hit a local beach,,,one thing was certain TONIGHT WAS A NIGHT TO FISH BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS IN PLACE -FULL MOON,WARMING TREND AND SHARKS REPORTED ALL UP AND DOWN THE FLORIDIAN EAST COAST.
Flat water upon our arrival at th beach meant all 4 rods were quickly deployed but within two hours the rain started coming down but i was ready with my trusty tarp we hunkered down as the surf kicked up and the rain continued for close to an hour.Jimmi Dean was right on this night the feisty gray colored sandbar shark killed the monotony and saved the night.Sandbars have not been abundant lately on our coast but this was one strong healthy female that probably weighed about 170 lbs .She wacked Jimmi first then I got the same treatment as i got too close for a pic.She was measured ,pictured and quickly released to procreate her species.One hundred and twenty five miles south somewhere in the Florida keys JD Fagan was at a new spot catching the shark that would take the lead in the SFSC -a 8 ft 4 inch bull his biggest ever.

Good job boys, driving home I saw the full moon and was thinking damn I should be on the beach right now with baits out. Might have to give it a shot tomorrow if it lays down.
