Ft myers beach and the super moon, suggestions please
Sorry this is late..but I've never fished Ft. Myers Beach for the very reason you mentioned. I can wade out past the buoys at most stretches of beach there and it takes a good 400-500 yd drop to get your bait into deeper water. When dealing with extreme tidal slopes, find yourself a deeper stretch of beach so you don't have to worry about a larger shark being beached on a sandbar. Cutoffs also seem to be more frequent at shallower beaches too. But many of these beaches around here have deeper holes just off the shallower parts and that is where you're going to want your bait because the sharks use the slopes and ridges like lanes for traveling as well as corralling prey.
