First Tiger of the season yesterday, then another

I've never caught one this early in the season, so I was a little nervous putting out the carcass with customers on board. I figured I'd give it an hour and go from there. Within 20 mins we had the first one on. About a 10 footer, pregnant.
We set up again and about an hour later we hit our second one. It was a smaller one, around 8 foot. She was pretty calm boatside so I was able to grab my phone for a picture with the leader in the other hand.

Looks that way. Ther was even a great white spotting on Tuesday at a reef only 3 miles off the beach. Its shaping up to be a incredible season. Thanks!

:P OUTCAST- whites 3 miles out :D ----you just know they are crusing the beaches---with all the protected sea mammals the GW's have got to be expaning their ranges-- i wonder if i could train a seal to hook one up for me- :o - its just a matter of time for someone to get hooked up with one---but--my money is on you catching a white in the near future-- :D

ss

Nice tigers, I think the lack of a regular winter is the cause of all this. But I also feel the later of the season may not produce as well.

Just an average fisherman.

My dream would be to "see" one of those beasts! Would I tell? I think the champagne corks washing up on the beach for weeks would be the dead giveaway.

I thought it was a little late in the season for someone to see one, but crazier things have happened. I spoke with a whale biologist from Georgia last month and he said they've spotted the same GW at a certain Ga reef for two straight years in Feb. I almost wizzed myself when he said it.
