I found out the hard way last night, simply having pictures of an untagged tarpon out of the water. I am a legal tagholder, however.
well guys as much as i hate to say its not gonna change and i think we are gonna have to conform to this one. 
but again some people should watch what they post like posting a picture of a snook when they are out of season....quick way to get FWC knocking.
But i do disagree with there views on us landing Jews i mean how else are we gonna de hook this beast
There's some people out our way that do a lot of stupid $hit, and illegal harvesting in public places. I would say we can thank them for now having FWC even farther up our @sses than they were over here. I'm guessing it wont be much longer before they have someone up at Sharky's or any of the local public beaches bothering us daily.
I have plenty of snook/Inseason out of season to small to big yellow purple blue.
F*** the fwc I never once killed a fish I wasnt going to keep.I never once took a fish that was out of season,to big or small! I Do have pictures of my trophy catches and if I want to share them by all means I will.I have 40 lb snook in a picture at the bridge yeah so what I released him.I handle them carefully and as quick as possible.
They need to stop with the petty shit and do some good for our nation.

They find another way to harrass fisherman, well my response is simple. I am a compulsive liar and all my photos are photoshopped. Prove it otherwise in a court of law. As a combat veteran (2.5yrs in AFG) and more importantly as a citizen of the USA, I am innocent until proven guilty and without the original picture file it wont hold up in court. So FWC as I know you are reading this, please crack down where it needs to be cracked down at. I see so many illegal fish taken home by tourists all over, these tarpon/goliaths are released relatively unharmed and SWIM away.
Well, as some of you may already know i'm coming from Romania where they have the biggest river in europe (1 mile wide), biggest delta (hundreds of square miles) and the black sea. Unfortunately because there is no FWC type of authority there to enforce any fishing regulations, people over-fished almost everything that swims in the water - therefor now if i would want to catch a fish there, i would better have a chance catching fish out from an aquarium then fishing and catching something from any of thous locations - and that's just in 22 years of uncontrolled harvesting. Believe it or not - in communist time before 1989 they had such authority and was not a problem a fishing there. I'm personally glad that such an authority like FWC enforce the fishing laws here in FL, so we can enjoy with family and friends "frame type moments" that lives with us for the rest of our life's. Yes, sometimes they may go over the line, but again - how often that happens comparing on how much benefit comes from them?
The only way to see all this is, in my way, is to live in other parts of the world and try to catch a fish - you'll be glad that you live in FL and you just have to drive an hour the max to catch the big monster. No wonder why fishermen from other places call Florida as "The Capital World of Sport Fishing" - we catch fish here - a lot too!

That's actually where I had my run-in at last night. Anything we put online is public domain, and the incriminating photos can and will be used against you. It's seriously a shame, I don't think anyone wants to get in the water with a Jewfish to remove a couple of seven dollar hooks.
about the jewfish that me and you in the words of fwc "harvested" that fish never left the water. granted he was in 6 inches of water but he was dehooked fast a few pics and he swam away strong. we even removed hooks that other people broke off. fwc is just wasting tax payers money by targeting people that are fishing for fun when we have a bunch of people harvesting under size kings macs and snook.

Same here bro. A Few weeks ago. I tried to warn everyone! Did they show up 3 deep at your place? And I agree, it is sad. I release everything I catch.
