Back in the saddle after a long break from the beach.Hit the beach just before sundown at one of our local spots. The water was flat calm and crystal clear, the moon was full coming out of the horizon like a ball of fire,we put out a 9/0,two 12/0s and my 16/0 with less then fresh bait.Of course the 16/0 gets my biggest effort i paddle and paddle almost 500 yards and wonder will i get hung up and lose a bunch of line or will it be the lucky rod again.Lucky rod again at midnight this skinny sandbar shark was our only hit on this outing.Snapped some pics and turned her loose we were home by 3am and checking out Team Rebel's 3 sharks on boatless.Things will start heating up real soon,we're scouting some new territories this year.

slow night with a full moon shining

Seven foot one inch sandbar shark
