We got together with the rest of our team mates(Lui,Julio,Big Will.His wife Irma,my son Willi and myself)and decided to travel up the coast quite a bit and try our luck with the sharks.We were helped by our friend Capt Mike who gave us some amberjack for bait.We set up camp right around 5 pm and by 6 we had our first shark a 7ft 6 inch male bull shark.That shark came in with bites to the belly and a deep bite on the dorsal fin.They are not mating scars because the male is the one that bites the female during courtship ,so i figured he got attacked by another bull or a tiger.We were getting spurts of action for 20 minutes at a time 3 or 4 rods would get hit, then an hour later 2 rods would get picked up almost at the same time.We were using all big baits because we were staying all night and wanted our baits to last the entire night.The second shark i caught around midnight after we were dozing off and every one came to life when the reel went off.It was an almost 8 ft female shark and i caught it on my 12/0 with 130lb Suffix.Both sharks were released to fight another day.The whole Team had a great time and we got to share some great moments on the beach.
