finally could put something up that's worth it besides wasting my time putting up a nurse shark lol my first real shark 6ft bull
got a call from my buddy he was on the pompano pier saying he was seeing a lot of sharks cruising the shore chasing big schools of mullet. i was debating on going out due to the rain and the surf being rough but just said hell with it. called him up and said lets go we got all our rods and gear ready, got out there had 3 rods in the water 4th one was on its way out i look to my left the 14/0 was on the ground with the drag screaming, set up on it and he was hooked. i was happy due to me kinda knowing this one wasn't a nurse shark at least i was hoping it wasn't got him in he was a 6ft bull not bad for my 1st real shark.. after we released him, the schools of mullet came in knee deep of water. we cast netted about a million of them. we had a light tackle rod with us, thank god it made things more interesting, we free lined one out and the rod got hit instantly, set the and landed a 15-20lb cuda and that was our night. :reeling:
