well on friday we took out 2 boats and camped on the beach in between marco and keywaden. friday we got there and ran baits first thing. ran 2 mullet out and 3 grouper carcasses. the baits sat untouched all the way til bout 10:00am on sat with no hits. we ran some fresh bull mullet and some more grouper carcasses. that afternoon a boat came running through in between the beach and sandbar at bout 50mph and hit my 9/0 ruining all my brand new line. the weather started to get pretty rough so we decided to do 1 more run of fresh baits before it got to bad. bout 45 min later my dad caught what i think was a bull shark but not 100% i will post some pics of it later. his 50w with brandnew bullbuster line made quick work of the 5ft 6in shark. shortly after the wind and waves got so bad that our baits where washing on shore no matter how much wieght we had on there. so our fishing was over. so we got a few moxed drinks in us and we got the bright idea to tie a mullet to my spinning rod( no hooks) and cast it into the bushes where we kept hearing noises. didnt take long and my spinning rod was bent double over and drag ripping off with i think a nice coon on lol it was the best run we had all weekend. all in all the fishing wasnt great but sure was alot of fun
