My buddy and I got out to our spot early on Sunday night. We struggled to round up bait and I only managed one ladyfish on the Gotchas. One was enough. One bait. One fish.
Not sure where the Ladyfish are these days? We estimated this bull to be around 6 feet, but I'm no expert. First decent fish on my 12/0. I've lost multiple jewfish and bulls out here so it feels good to land one. The shark swam off very strongly, which was probably the best part. Other than a huge nurse, this bull is my personal best so far. Enjoy the pictures! Phil
CONGRATULATIONS on your ladyfish caught bull shark ;there will be much larger ones in the future.It's always a good day when you get to the beach without any bait and are able to work your way up to catch a shark with a fresh caught bait.Thanks for the report.
