How would it work if they ban the taking of hammerhead and the tiger sharks on July 21? How would any person be able to get a new hammer or tiger shark world record ?What do we who hope to catch a world record shark do ?Deal with what come's your way after just to have you name on the record book?
If enacted into law the ban would make it a crime to kill a hammerhead or a tiger shark so you would not be allowed to claim a world record for those two species from Florida waters.You could however submit world record paper work and pics to IGFA for sharks caught elsewhere such as the Bahamas or the Carolina's.
