Headed out to normandy beach in martin county this morning.Went with a lady fish and a blue fish. The blue was about 27 inches long.Todays trip was to catch some BT's on casted baits.

Well,The shark gear of choice was avet sx 50 lb braid to 50 lb mono to 5 feet of 125 bull buster and 3 foot of bite leader to a 7/0 circle hook . I was able to cast about 30 yards which seemed to be the sweet spot. I casted a chunk of bluefish out. 20 minutes later the sx takes of screaming. I Slammed it in gear and let it get tight.. FISH ON!!! the fish dumped the reel very quickly I bumped it to full and stopped him while in mid run.The fish then headed south and popped me off through my 125 with his tail. The next one was more of the same. Then I re rigged and put the sx back out. 30 minutes later it was music to my ears.It was a spinner shark it jumped a few times and then broke me off.The spinner shark took my last bait we called it a day after that..

All fish were way over 100 lbs. Smallest was about 3 feet that jumped like a bass shook his head and spit the hook.

All in all the avet sx didnt miss a lick and stompped these huge fish for the size reel.

Sorry no pictures. heading back out now.!!!
