Best setup for bridge fishing??!??

What are everyone opinions on leaders for bridge fishing for shark and goliaths??!?? Length, test weight, hook ect?!?? Also is a 9/0 big enough for something around 200# or should I go bigger?!? I'm usin 50# test on my 9.0. Any help much appreciated.

I'd step that 50# line up to 80# or higher..it will hold up much better on the pilings when the fish try to take you under. And they will, so be ready to put the brakes on. When fishing a bridge for big fish use the heaviest mono lines possible, don't worry so much about line capacity on your reel, worry about being able to apply the pressure necessary to stop the fish from taking you under the bridge. As for leaders for sharks and jewfish off the bridge I use 20-30 ft of 550# mono and 4-5 ft of #15 or #19 malin wire and a 20/0 circle hook. I also double about 30 ft of my main line using a spider hitch before tying my leader on so theres a longer length of heavier line. Good luck.
