left the house about 1:30 with a frozen 20lb bat ray 15in. mack and 3fresh snapper carcasses. Headed out to anna maria island with my mom girlfriend and her little brother looking for some shark fishing action. get to the beach about 2:00 an i paddle out the bait on my 14/0 on the surfboard about 200yrds out,then take the 9/0 with mack about 150yrds an then the other 9/0 with the snapper carcasses about 150yrds out also. With a ssw wind and on the other side of a full moon with a cold front pushing a low pressure system threw i knew our chances were good. the front started to push in an the winds were switching at 5:00 the 9/0 with the snapper (down current of the other baits) went off screaming i yell to my girlfriends brother (adam) your rod....he grabs the rod an hits the running man up the beach an the fish starts stripping line with ease an he stops her an i tell him run down the beach to angle out with the crab traps, he does so; an the up an coming rookie prevails with a nice heathy lookin 6ft2in sandbar
