havent been able to log in for a long time so i made a new profile. been fishing a lot like everynight after work and when im off ive been bait fishing. so ive been really busy. i fished for a week with a buddy coming down from north florida. we hit the bridge to catch jacks and snag rays and did good.

got a lil gag

this is how you hogtie a ray

later that night we dropped the baits after i got off work. before i showed up michael already landed a small bull

so i drop a bait and hook up 10 minutes later, it rips drag on hookset and charges the bridge, i bow up to the grips and the rod lifts me off feet i thought i was going to fly offf the bridge. the fish dives into the pilings and shreds my 500 lb leader and my rod flings up and i fly back. rerig and drop a bait again, an hour goes by and the reel sings. and im onto a small bull.

after that i slept til the sun came up and we went home.
i get a day off with my buddy and we hit the bridge to catch bait. after i caught some macks on bucktails and put one out on the squall. it starts ringing a few minutes after slack hits and i bring in a 70 lb ray after a good tug of war to try and get it off the bottom.

after i bring the ray up to the bridge i see that its still slack so i drop a mack into the piling on my 12/0 as it sinks down to the bottom i feel my ling get tight and run out of the piling i run away and bow the rod over the rail. an awesome tug of war and the fat jewfish was subdued

that same night i drop the ray and it never got touched

we fished the pier and did good with a large variety of fish
i dropped a live pinfish on the squall and an hour later i rip a nice snook out and i almost had it when it shot into a piling and broke me off.
baits were getting slammed all night and i landed a tipper and a little bull.

i ripped my pants setting hook lol

a few nights later we hit the pier during a storm and within an hour i got a 7 foot and an 8 foot lemon

after the first lemon we were fishing in a torrential downpour and the water was like a washing machine. i could barely hear my reel over the storm but when i heard it singing i ran down the pier and slipped and slid 10 feet and right under the railing but was lucky enought to grab the side and pull myself back up, while all this was happening m reel was still going so i get up and engage the reel and hook a nice lemon and bring him in after a short fight.

we go out another night to the pier with storms on the horizon

zac lands a nice jewfish but that was the only action of the night

i got my buddy to catch his first shark, a nice lemon.

we all fished the beach for an entire night. droppped the 14/0 far and the 12 and the 9 short after two fish lost my 14/0 gets hit solid and i do the running man and get yanked around and drag starts ripping out. after a good fight i bring in a decent bull hooked in the dorsal fin. definitely thought it was twice the size.
