Another Panama City Beach- City Pier Mako (April 2013)
So the spanish mackerel came in finally two days ago at the city pier. Today they were having a feeding frenzy and i couldnt cast without my Gotcha plug being hit. Well everybody was enjoying this when out of nowhere. A mako jumps a solid 10 feet in the air right beside our pier at the first Tee. Quickly my buddy alan grabbed his shimano spheros 12000 with a shark rig already on it and hooked one of the spanish he had just caught to it and the fight was on. An hour later he had passed the rod to tyler who is the guy that caught the mako in the picture i posted last of the first mako and he finally landed it. I will try to get some pictures tonight just an interesting thing i figured i would share
