This night was to become a successful one. Catching any sharks in the winter is considered to be quite lucky. For my girlfriend Enoe,Jd hammers spot in the keys is exactly that " lucky". She caught a 6'11" lemon shark in islamorada. Her second one this year. What made this trip exciting was that the shark got stuck and fortunately for us.. Hammer was there to save the day!! He kayaked out into the pitch black water to pull the line out of the water. It was stuck for a good 15 min. Safe to say we owe hammer a good breakfast for all of his hard work! Thank you hammer!!

We used a bonita to land the lemon. That was just the start. Shannon landed a 8'6 bullshark that weighed 350+. We had a great trip and I really enjoy shark fishing! Actually, after learning from one of the best I love all types of fishing! I cant get enough! I love it so much that if I can't make it shannon has the green light to go ever week. So look out for those posts he used to put up! "Get em babe". Nothing like taking out your bait when its pitch black. Its one of the most peaceful experiences ive had the pleasure to come accross. At times also the most nerve recking but, overall true fun! Shannon will post the pictures with a full report tomorrow of his shark as well as all of our other great catches so stay tuned!<3
