last week i went out with luis and we paddled out two fresh 6-7pound bonitas on the 2 14/0's about 30 mins go by and i get a big bump on my 14/0 then it starts constently messing with it and im thinking nurse shark probably. then after a long time of it messing with it me reeling in some and then it takes off i put it n freespool let it eat and do the running man. the end result was about a 65 pound tarpon. couldent have pulled that one off without the help of luis, thanks bro.

then a few days later we fish another spot further north and the cuda fishing was on fire like i have never seen before. between me luis and 2 of his boys we landed 3. and two of them were big dogs. lost a few more but we were so happy with what we got, and it was awesome watching the boys taking turns fighting the cudas. we put baits out that night but the bite was slow and we only got one hit and i hooked it but it came off right in the surf, it was a big tipper it almost swam on too the beach.

well i went too the west coast for christmas to visit my family. and i had some bait from the east coast so i decided to bring my kayak and two shark rods. went out tuesday moning in seach of a spot too set up and take some baits out for a shot at catching a sandbar. took out half a cuda about 250 yrds on my 12/0 and then took out a kingfish head on my 9/0 about 100yrds or less. about an hour and a half goes buy and i start getting bumps on my 9/0 then soon after my line goes slack and the realy slack. so run over tight up and then the fish starts to take line on freespool, i lock it up do the running man and im hooked up good. turned out to be a sandbar close too 7ft. i was so pumped with this catch, it was daytime there were boats and jetskis everywhere and i wasent too happy with all that going on and then to get a shark and my first sandbar was just awesome.
