Just came back from an action packed, thunderstorms all over, night at the beach. I didn't measure it exactly but its close to a 9 foot bull. Also got a 6 ft nurse on half of a 35 lb cuda. If I didn't run out of bait I would've stayed the night.

After watching River Monsters and the big bull sharks in the Breede River tonight I had to bump this one up.I am now convinced the Breede river in South Africa has some of the biggest bull sharks in the world.Jeremy Wade and his team caught two sharks over 9 foot,one 9 foot 5 inch and the other 10 foot 5 inch and both were males.The females get much bigger and the big female they caught there last year was said to be 13 foot and 1000 lbs.
Jupiter inlet on the inside and palm beach inlet have some monster bull sharks this time of year and waiting to be caught by the right team willing to do the research and put in the time,,,,,,,,,hhhhmmmm maybe next week.

Neither of these two is 1000 lbs like the caption reads but closer to 600 the bigger of the two.
For comparisons sake this one weighed 581 pounds (courtesy capt Goldscmitt)
Rene with two big bulls the smaller 420 lb and the bigger a 480 lb 9 foot 8 inch beast(his biggest ever) both caught from the Bahia Honda bridge back in 1983 .
