9'2" Lemon

On Saturday the 6th our day started off trying to figure out what we were going to do. Daniel, Jake, and I went out to the Manatee draw bridge around 3 to try to see if we can snag or net some rays. We saw about 8 but we missed them all because we only had Pompano Jigs rigged up and my net was a cheap 7ft Mullet net that opens up like a 3 footer. So assuming the people already caught some bait we left that spot and went to the pier.We met up with everyone then headed off to the beach. We only had 3 Mackerel, we still went to the beach to see if we could catch rays or even catfish to bait up all our rods. As we sat around we notice that Daniel disappered into the darkness. After about 10mins we heard Daniel yelling at us, we ran and we saw him trying to take out a fish out of the net. He ended up catching about a 15in Drum and a nice Flounder. I kept the Drum alive until James rigged up his 14/0 and attached the break-away. Kayaked it out only about 100yards, any further Daniel would be kayaking through a maze of crab traps. 30 mins later the clicker started screaming. We hooked up and landed a 9'2" Lemon after about a 20min fight.
