well last minute plans me and coty (manasota coty)and my buddy headed to the beach. I yakked out 2 rods, a formula 15ld and a 4/0 about 200yards each. about 10 minutes later i check my rod (4/0)and watch it go slack.....put it in freespool tighten the drag and set hook. 30 min later 8ft hammer on the beach...took out hooks and set it free..it swam away strongly
we used my 10ft rod to measure the shark and later went home and measured the rod at 8ft
