Cmoney7 said, "I have a special delivery bait." And we did what any energetic sharker would do. We put the massive bait on the big rod with big reel and put it out deep.
The the reel went off at a steady pace. I took my time and got set up with gloves, lights, etc..... so I would be forced to give the girl some time to eat. I picked up the rod and gave it more time. Line was going off the reel at a quicker and quicker pace. I hit it....hard....I ran 5 yards and I could not move. Cmoney7 started pushing me from behind to set the hook even deeper.
What you have to understand is most of the guys left the beach to go for a burger run. We were starving. Team gets back with burgers and beverages and the action started. The hook was set, harness was on and I was hungry. I grabbed my burger and drink and fought the bull to the end.
Landed an 8ft 8 inch female bull. What a great night!!! Check out the video below to see the "special bait" and action.

the day JD got his "special bait" i asked him if he saved the head!!! I've seen those things brought in mangled up from sharks, i knew that "special bait" was excellent!!!

It's a dehooker I bought a Bass pro (Bass pro brand). Great price, just not a great dehooker. The handle has unscrewed from the shaft when twisting out a circle. I fixed it with some lock tight and it's working well. I bent the tip on a shark. I put the dehooker in a vice and fix the shape every third trip due to the metal bending.
In summary, inexpensive dehooker that gets all the hooks. Just needs a little TLC
