860 lb DUSKY SHARK
We have a scarcity of of big Dusky shark pictures and i for one love to research big shark catches and I'm interested in getting you guys to find some of these big dusky shark catches from past years.Nowadays the laws are different and the Dusky is rightfully a protected species because of there dwindling numbers but in past years the big Dusky's were often caught on Florida's west coast in the summer shark tournaments.I know Ernie Polk has mentioned that Rodey Pate caught a 13 or 14 footer from a panhandle pier but we have no pictures on this Forum of any big 500 pound plus Duskys from any part of Florida or other place. The current world record is 760 lbs caught the same year and in the same shark tourney as the 991 lb Allen Ogle hammerhead was caught but one bigger then 760 lbs was caught by Ron Jewett an ex member of the Tampa Bay sharkers in 1983 but again we have no pictures of that shark either.Hey Keith (sharkark)how's about you help us a little with this one?Any pictures with the story would be appreciated
