That my friend was the 5ft spinner shark caught 2hours ago on a VERY LIGHT leader 80lb wire 5/0 circle.
This shark was on the beach, when i toke these pictures some girls came close to the shark and start screaming "shark! shark!".. funny!.. 20 sec later i released successfully.
Before that i had my line snapped when i set the hook - i have no idea what shark that was.

Way to go Boghy.Time to upgrade that leader you definetly don't wanna hook into the 14 footer that's been hanging around with 8o lb mono or it's "SEE YA" real quickly.

To be honest with you guys the only reason i had that 80lb of wire was because i run out from my heavier wire line - 131lb. I also use circle hooks, so usually the hook gets set on side of the jaws were they can't bite into wire.
I had my line broken 10 minutes before when i hooked into something on 131lb wire, which cut my main line when i set the hook. I had also a new reel - never caught a fish on it - lever drag type reel, and most likely i applied to much pressure to begin with. Learned my lesson and 10 minutes later caught the spinner shark with light initial drag pressure.
