Juno P. - 5ft BT 4-5min fight - hooked around 9:15pm. Apparently they start to show up.
Also, seems that blue runners are more active after sunset at night rather then before sunset. They love squid, and sharks love fresh cut-up runners :D.
This was my first shark for 2012.

They are great bait for many many many fish, now you should try sending out one alive!

Just an average fisherman.

The only time i do that, is when i'm with other people who i know - fishing. Otherwise, i can't babysit one rod while the other two were eyeballed to be stolen like happen yesterday. In thous 4-5 minutes i caught a guy that fished right next to me attempting to stole my spinning rod. When i run back to my tackle box to get the gloves - the guy quickly came back with my rod in his hands to put it back. If i wouldn't go back to get the gloves, that rod would be gone - since was easy to take it - was dark, and everyone was around that shark - watching - except this guy. After that - that guy was quickly GONE! He knew that i knew what he tried to do.
So - don't trust nobody, unless you know the guy next to you is a fisherman that comes often on the pier - usually this are the only one that can be trusted.

I've run into a few incidents when it comes to thievery on both Juno and Lakeworth piers... the pier rats are always lookin' for a nice shiny rod and reel to stack in their cubby hole... I've seen way more of these problems on juno pier than lakeworth... but you gotta watch what your doing anywhere... rods get stolen in the keys too.

If i'm not using a rod I try my best to put it in the cart or tie it up with the other unused rods and maybe to the pier itself.

Really sucks fishing and knowing someone is always looking to rip you off... Murphy's Laws are haunting.

Just an average fisherman.

Ya Sebastian after dark gets rough too lol live blue runners are the best bait for kings and cudas they both love those little hyper active fish lol I normally break the tail bottom and top so he swims a lot slower so sharks. Can actually catch them lol I've seen a shark chase my blue runner for over 5 minutes before he just gave up lol
